Health and Rehabilitation Services

Rehab First is one of Ontario's largest multidisciplinary assessment and treatment organizations, numbering approximately 100 professional staff who are supported by the Psychologists and Physicians of our MEDNet® roster. Our disciplines include Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Counselling, Professional Case Management, Rehabilitation Therapy, Life Care Planning and Future Care Cost Reporting.


Rehab First is seeking an experienced, energetic and polished Account Manager who has experience with the SABS, disability management services and the medico-legal environment. Demonstrated success cultivating productive relationships with personal injury lawyers, auto and disability insurers, law clerks, physicians and other regulated health professionals is required. Candidates who also have a health (e.g. kinesiology, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nursing etc.) or legal credentials, or a strong understanding of clinical fundamentals and personal injury civil procedure are preferred. Candidates should also have sound knowledge of one or more of the following:

  • Auto injury benefits
  • Disability insurance benefits (insured and self-insured)
  • Workers compensation benefits
  • Hospital discharge procedures
  • Human rights legislation and occupational health and safety legislation

Key Responsibilities

  • Generating referral customer leads through the intelligent use of Rehab First customer approach and promotional media
  • Conversion of leads and contacts made at sponsored and non-sponsored networking events
  • Collaborate on marketing planning and execution
  • Clear and timely communications with customers and colleagues
  • Maintenance of customer contact and account assignment databases

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a relationship management role
  • Personal integrity, self-motivation and customer focus
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and to be accountable for results with minimal supervision
  • Presentable, professional and confident establishing and cultivating relationships with a diverse, professional customer base
  • Confident and practiced in ability to undertake one-on-one or small group presentations
  • Minimum of an undergraduate university degree or college diploma in Healthcare, Business, Marketing, Sales, or other related disciplines
  • Clinical experience working with clients/patients would be considered an asset
  • Superior interpersonal relations, communications and time management skills
  • Moderate to advanced Microsoft Office skills. Highly developed presentation design, creation and delivery skills
  • Completion of a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check
